CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Friday night’s B1G Hour on KGYM radio was loaded with great Hawkeye talk. Incoming Iowa basketball freshman Patrick McCaffery and former running back Akrum Wadley joined the show.

We began the hour with McCaffery, the son of Hawkeye head coach Fran McCaffery. He talked about the plan for him as an Iowa freshman in the fall, living life in the fishbowl and what movies he watched with his dad.

Wadley jumped on next. He spoke about the demise of the AAF and how it affected him, what he learned from Chris Doyle and Kirk Ferentz that serves him well today, and what the future holds for him.
