AMES, Iowa – Iowa overcame bad weather and a hostile crowd Saturday here at Jack Trice Stadium. The nineteenth-ranked Hawkeyes knocked off rival Iowa State, 18-17, in front of a sold out venue The game was delayed almost three hours because of storms.

Following the contest, the Iowa players met with the media here.
