IOWA CITY, Iowa – As expected, some of Iowa’s top underclassmen have submitted paperwork to the NFL Draft Advisory Board. A.J. Epenesa, Tristian Wirfs and Geno Stone announced they had Sunday here at the football performance center.

Two other candidates, Chauncey Golston and Alaric Jackson, did not attend Sunday’s press conference. Ihmir Smith-Marsette said he did not submit paperwork to the advisory board.

“I’m coming back my senior year; whole lot of unfinished business,” he said.

Epenesa, Wirfs and Stone are undecided what they will do pending the reports coming back from the advisory board. They’re focusing on preparing for the Dec. 27 Holiday Bowl against USC and will figure things out after that.

“I love this program with all my heart, so it’s a tough decision to make,” said Epenesa, who grew up an Iowa fan, the son of former player, Epenesa Epenesa.
