IOWA CITY, Iowa – For the first time in their Iowa careers, all but senior Nicholas Baer will be playing the NCAA Tournament. The Hawkeyes meet Cincinnati Friday in Columbus, Ohio.

“It was awesome,” junior forward Tyler Cook said of his team hearing its name called during Sunday’s selection show. “I said after our name was announced that it’s what we’ve been working for since April. We knew we’d be in the tournament, but just seeing our name up on that screen and hearing them say the Iowa Hawkeyes, it was pretty special.”
