HN TV: Kelvin Bell Dishes on the Defensive Line

IOWA CITY, Iowa – After assisting Reese Morgan with the defensive line the last three seasons, Kelvin Bell took over the position this offseason after the veteran coach’s retirement. Tuesday, he spoke with the media for the first time since the promotion.

Bell talked about the development of the spot this spring and what needed to happen after graduating four starters. He explained how he saw using linebacker Amani Jones as an “edge defender” in what would be a 3-4 look.

It was an informative press conference.
