AMES, Iowa – For the first time in his 21-year run as Iowa head coach, Kirk Ferentz has recorded five wins in a row against his in-state rival. The Hawkeyes slipped by Iowa State, 18-17, Saturday night here at Jack Trice Stadium.

Following the victory, Ferentz met with the media.
