Written by Rob Howe

Each Friday, Hawkeye Nation hooks up with KGYM in Cedar Rapids for the BIG Hour from 6-7 p.m. CT sponsored by Hawkeye Title and Settlement of Iowa City. Most weeks we have a special guest, usually a Hawkeye.

Our latest interview went down Friday night when we were joined by former Iowa hoops standout Luke Recker. He talked about his time as a Hawkeye, playing for Steve Alford and their relationship today, his connection to current coach, Fran McCaffery, dealing with public adversities, and what he thought about Last Days of Knight.

You can listen to the our entire interview with Luke Recker and download the podcast HERE. It’s from 12-14-18. The discussion starts at the 120:00 mark of this recording. There’s plenty of Hawkeye talk throughout the podcast, however.
