Iowa fans are known for rabid support of their teams, namely in football and wrestling.

The Arizona Athletic Department knows this and has priced tickets for this fall’s game against the Hawkeyes accordingly.

According to this story in the Press Citizen, ticket costs for the Iowa game are the highest priced ticket in Arizona’s offering this year, more so than even the ASU and USC home games.

I would predict this will be the last such regular season instance of this happening for the remainder of the Kirk Ferentz era.

One more link for you, this one related to Iowa’s home ticket sales efforts…they are nearly all gone.
