Hawkeyes Feeling Good About Summer Progress, Excited for Season

IOWA CITY, Iowa – A group of Iowa players met with the media on Tuesday here at the football performance center. They felt good about summer workouts and excited for training camp, which kicks off later this month.

HN attended the interview session and compiled a HN TV video package of the guys. In this four-minute production you can watch:

-Toren Young in the growth of the running backs
-Nick Easley on his expectations for a young receiver group
-Amani Hooker on avoiding the hype
-Jake Gervase on progress in the secondary
-Anthony Nelson on being mellow off the field but excitable on it
-Amani Jones on inexperienced linebackers building chemistry
