NOTES: Kirk Ferentz said in his Wednesday press conference that Tyler Nielsen would not participate in contact drills, but has been cleared to play medically after recovering from his late season neck injury. Marvin McNutt, Steve Bigach, Shane DiBona and Tanner Miller will miss spring drills as they recover from out of season surgery, but Ferentz expects them to be full speed in June. Brad Rogers (heart) and Austin Vier (Significant back pain) will be held out of spring ball and Ferentz would not say whether or not either player would be ready to go by June.
