Sneaking this one in before Mother’s Day officially kicks off..Happy Mother’s Day to all you mom’s reading this, to mine and to the mother of my children.

Hubbard’s Shot at Redemption | Sean Keeler talks some with Anthony Hubbard, some with the victim of the crime Hubbard was involved with eight years ago as well as the father of Hubbard’s current girlfriend, who happens to be a Baptist minister. Pique your interest yet?

Comparing Fry & Ferentz Through 12 Years of Each Era | In case you haven’t been able to tell, if you put something together that has lots of stats and graphs, I am probably going to read it and link to it. I love that stuff and this is a graphical comparison to some numbers I have run through the years, except I just don’t have the skill to make the graphs. Or at least, I haven’t tried to learn in a while. This link is full of statistical comparisons between Hayden Fry and Kirk Ferentz through their first 12 years at Iowa…from wins, % of games won, points per game, points against, etc. I liked it, hope you will too.

Three Hawks Earn Academic Honors | Julian Vandervelde, Josh Koeppel and Jeff Tarpinian; Good job!

Nebraska is Not the Green Bay Packers Cuz the Packers are Champions | Love this item from Mike Hlas…Big Ten Commish Jim Delany recently said some things about Nebraska that might have been true 10 years ago, but just don’t hold the same water now. Read the item above and see what you think. For me, while I am glad Nebraska is in the Big Ten, I have grown weary of this dog and pony show on their behalf. They’re in, the honeymoon is over and let’s play some football.

Marc Morehouse of The Gazette is auctioning off some Hawkeye related items he’s gathered through the years. The proceeds go to Camp Courageous.
