Is Penn St Bringing The Sideline Warmers?

Remembering the 2009 game. Many Penn St fans were blaming the loss because of the weather and cold damp night. Apparently Iowa had sideline warmers and Penn St did not, which was why they lost. Could it have contributed, I suppose yes, but that is not Iowa's problem.

Tomorrow looks to be similar weather with dampness and coldness for the evening game. I wonder if Penn St. remembers 2009 and if they will bring the appropriate hardware?

I'd love to see the weather play a factor to help minimize their passing game.

The proble with that is our coached wont adjust and will still throw. What is scripted must be done.

Does that mean we can blame last year's Penn State loss on cold damp weather?:)

It's not supposed to be a tropical paradise tomorrow night but I think it will be a long way from those 2008 conditions. That was cold just to watch on TV.

The weather on Saturday night won't be nearly as bad as the 2008 game. That game was in the mid to upper 30s with 25 MPH winds.

This Saturday will in the mid to lower 50s at kickoff with winds dying down as the day/evening progresses.

I thought that 2008 game was more like mid to upper 20's.

I must be getting old, but it was cold either way, and colder than it will be tomorrow night.

I believe every member of that coaching staff has been replaced due to a situation a few years ago where PSU was harboring a kiddie diddler. Did you hear anything about that?

In 2009, iowa played at penn state. It rained a lot it was 1st week in October. PSU was ranked 5 and Iowa's O did not look up to the task going in

in 2008 iowa played PSU at home, it was cold, windy and loud - it was November

I blame the two losses prior to 2018 on Hurricane Barkley.

Predicted temperature at 7:00 p.m. Saturday is 51 degrees with winds at 12 mph. Not all that terrible, IMO.
