Was surprised to see JBO on bench tonite. Wasn't he bedridden for weeks last time after surgery? This has to be a great sign his recovery may go quicker. Hopefully a full summer of workouts.

I think it's been almost a month since he had surgery so he probably was laid up for at least a couple of weeks. Either way I really hope he can heal completely and be a big part of what should be a really good Iowa team next season.

I had a surgery for a torn Achilles the same day he had his hip surgery. I’ve noticed a huge change the last few days as far as pain is concerned.

What was his demeanor? May provide insight on grad transfer.

The dudes gonna shatter like 6 records at Iowa. Why on Earth would he transfer... especially with the team they have returning next year?

    It's crazy talk. Insanity even.

A lot of things can happen over the course of a year...but NO.
Not this, not even a 1% chance he transfers so just NO.

Having a huge sac sure does wear on the hips.

Now that I'm in my 40s it's also a tripping hazard.

Is the recovery time quicker if the original damage wasn't as bad? Or did they just do a fake surgery to guarantee a red shirt?
