since the start of the 2017 conference schedule, and counting only conference games thru yesterday, BF and NS have amassed 12 conference wins against teams with a combined conference record of.................27-69.

A winning percentage of 28%, of teams we’ve beaten in conference since the start of 2017. If that doesn’t speak to abysmal, what does? NS becomes starter, BF moved into the OC position in 2017. The program is legitimately in a free fall that is masked by 4 cupcakes in the non conference.

Yeah the B1G numbers speak for themselves. No way to spin it.

Just think, over that time period Iowa has 3 close wins over ISU (2 of which were extremely tight) and 2 very close bowl wins. The ISU game which always sets the tone for the season and the bowl game which leaves the taste in your mouth for the offseason have thankfully gone Iowa's way. Had some or all of those 5 gone differently, oh boy, shit would not be happy in IC right now.

Yet the bootlickers still think we can't do any better than Ferentz. That record is pathetic, and Iowa is the only place where he would still have a job.

I wouldn’t be shocked if we finish 7-5 . The whole offensive philosophy by this coaching staff is really holding these players back

Amazing stat. I knew it was bad but I had no idea this bad.

But you’ll hear guys here say how non-cons are just as important as conference games, and how beating horrid ISU teams compensates for losing to Penn State and Wisconsin perennially.

Because non-con wins add to perception and AP ranking, and AP ranking is most important to recruits (which is a garbage take).

Those 12 teams would have a lot better combined record if they'd have beaten us.

KF and family are the epitome of fat and happy government employees. Overpaid.....underachieving , do not meet goals, but keep job and get bonuses.

I hope, and think, that the Golden Girls don't have what it takes to leave Iowa City with a W and a bronze pig

I love it when internet geniuses generalize, overstate their case, and destroy their own credibility. Own it.

Numbers tell the story. 12 conference wins against teams with a 28% win percentage. Only 1 and 11 against 500 or better teams, Best win isu two years straight. With these facts, it's not justified to ask for accountability?

I am frustrated as anyone, BUT first we only play THREE non-conf games. Second ISU has been a SOLID P5 team last 3 years with Campbell. Many huge victories and many near-misses. PLEASE STOP PRETENDING ISU SUX AND THAT VICTORY IS MEANINGLESS. PLEASE.

The Gophs have what it takes. The question is does IOWA have what it takes to beat them.

Hawks can move the ball against a mediocre Goofer D. Question is, will BF allow it?

you are correct on the non conference schedule, however if any power 5 program has to thump their chest that Iowa State is your marquee victory year after year, something is very messed up......it starts with KF and ends with BF.
