Josiah Miamen

KCJJ is reporting that Iowa Football sophomore tight end Josiah Miamen was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Trespass, Interference with Official Acts, Public Intoxication and Possession of a Fictitious ID following an incident in Iowa City early Saturday.

The Police report obtained by KCJJ indicated that Miamen, 19, was asked to leave Elray’s Live and Dive on Iowa Avenue and allegedly pushed and attempted to punch a member of the staff. When police spotted him later, he fled on foot, the report said. He was apprehended.

Miamen has not played in a game during his two seasons on campus, missing most of 2020 with an injury. He was named Academic All-Big Ten in the fall.
