HN Prospect Podcast: Ohio TE Luke Lachey Excited to Start Iowa Journey

Luke Lachey grew up rooting for Ohio State. His dad, Jim Lachey, played there and has served as the school’s radio color voice for almost a quarter of a century. A member of the famous “Hogs” offensive line with the Washington Redskins, Jim Lachey hosts the weekly radio show with Buckeye head coach Ryan Day.

Even with those connections, Day and Ohio State decided against offering Luke Lachey a scholarship. He ended up accepting one as a tight end for Iowa. He’s excited about how things worked out, and the Buckeyes’ loss is the Hawkeyes’ gain.
