Podcast: Danan Hughes Shares Feelings on Iowa Football Changes

Former Iowa receiver and baseball standout Danan Hughes has known Hawkeye football coach Kirk Ferentz since he was an assistant with the program back in 1988. Hughes has reported on Ferentz’s team for the Big Ten Network.

We caught up with Hughes for a podcast talking about former players alleging racial injustice within the program. He shared his confidence level in Ferentz being able to make the necessary changes and how we’ll know if that mission is accomplished. He also shared how his head coach, Hayden Fry, would have handled social media and more.
