Davidkov also reported scholarship offers from Duke, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Syracuse, Wisconsin and others.

The former sees the Winnetka (IL) New Trier High standout as the No. 24 offensive tackle nationally and the No. 190 player overall regardless of position for the current recruiting cycle. The latter shows him as the No. 9 tackle in the country and No. 59 player overall.

Davidkov (6-6, 290) became the fourth offensive line commitment in the ’21 class. He joined Stephens, Connor Colby from Cedar Rapids (IA) Kennedy and Illinois’ Gennings Dunker.

Face-to-face recruiting was shut down during the middle of last month until the end of May due to the CIVID-19 pandemic. Still, the Hawkeyes have gained five verbal commitments in that time with Davidkov, Stephens, Llewellyn, in-state safety Cooper DeJean and Florida defensive back Jordan Oladokun.
