Hawkeyes Secure Pair of O-Line Commitments

Friday night proved fruitful for the Iowa football team. The Hawkeyes picked up pledges from a pair of 2020 offensive linemen.

Cedar Rapids Xavier’s Josh Volk and Tyler Elsbury from Byron (IL) High both announced on social media that they were committing to Iowa. The Hawkeyes now have eight prospects on board in the cycle.

Volk and Elsbury are considered three stars by Rivals and 247. Rivals shows Volk as the third best player in Iowa for the class, while Elsbury checks in at No. 13 in Illinois.
