NORTHBROOK, Ill. – Luke Pinnick showed off his upside during his freshman year at State Center (IA) West Marshall High. Last weekend, he challenged himself against some of the region’s top competition.

Pinnick (6-3, 275) took part in the Under Armor camp here at Glenbrook North High School. He was one of two ninth-graders in the offensive line group and he held up well.

Iowa State already has offered Pinnick a scholarship. He visited Iowa for its spring scrimmage at Kinnick Stadium last month.

I caught up with him during the Under Armor event. You could tell he was a little nervous being on camera (probably for the first time) but he did a good job and shared his feelings on the Hawkeyes.
