Previewing Recruiting Visitors for Heroes Game

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa completes its regular season on Friday when it plays host to Nebraska. A large group of recruits are expected to visit Kinnick Stadium for the game.

A trio of uncommitted, in-state juniors with Hawkeye offers headline the group. Southeast Polk running back Gavin Williams, Carroll (IA) Kuemper Catholic defensive end Blaise Gunnerson and Council Bluffs Lewis Central defensive tackle Logan Jones return to Iowa after visiting on multiple occasions.

The Hawkeyes also will welcome back to town a group of players already verbally committed. They include Sebastian Castro, Tyler Endres, Noah Fenske, Desmond Hutson, Logan Lee and Ezra Miller in the ’19 class. Michael Lois will represent the ’20 cycle.

Cedar Rapids Prairie receiver Jace Andregg and Creighton Mitchell, a speedy running back and return man from West Des Moines Valley, are a pair of in-state juniors that haven’t received offers yet but have visited multiple times and are clearly being evaluated by the Hawkeye coaches.
