NORTHBROOK, Ill. – Logan Jones attended Iowa’s junior day in early March. The in-state sophomore picked up a scholarship offer during the stop.

He and Southeast Polk running back Gavin Williams are the only in-state sophomores holding a Hawkeye opportunity. Jones also reports offers from Iowa State and Minnesota.

As one of the younger competitors, he showed up here Sunday to test himself against top talent during the Under Armor camp at Glenbrook North High. He performed very well going head to head with upperclassmen.

Jones feels comfortable with the Iowa coaching staff and looks forward to more talks with it. He could see himself lining up for the Hawkeyes some day as a bulldog defensive tackle that fits their scheme well.
