IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz met with the media on Wednesday when the program added more prospects in its 2018 recruiting class during the late signing period. All tolled, the Hawkeyes signed 22 prospects in the group.

Ferentz spoke about the four late additions – Nico Ragaini, Jayden McDonald, Kaevon Merriweather and Logan Klemp. He also discussed Indianapolis defensive backs D.J. Johnson and Julius Brents, who signed during the early period but didn’t go public until Wednesday.
